The summer DHC Book Club selection is "Emmanuel Promise" by Summer Joy Gross who is an Anglican priest. The book is available through the publisher for $18.99 or from most booksellers.
This book looks at the neuroscience behind attachment theory and how that relates to our attachment to God as well as being filled with numerous practical spiritual practices. Our discussion dates are July 14, 21 and 28 at 7:00 pm ET. The author, Summer Joy Gross, will be joining us on July 14. Each gathering will include engaging in a spiritual practice highlighted in the book and small group discussion.
